First of all, for those who hasn’t experienced one before, a fast casual restaurant (aks quick service restaurant) is a restaurant which doesn’t offer full table service, as fast food restaurants, but assuring a higher quality of food and environment.

This new type of restaurant, positioned just between fast food and casual dining, is growing: a new fashion out there, so “hot” to change the restaurant industry. Actually, it seems that fast casual restaurants are leading the restaurant industry both in sales and in unit growth.
